About Me

I started my professional career in Mechanical Engineering in 2017.
I have taken on roles in the Energy, Nuclear, and Mining sectors. I am currently working at a global company in the Mining sector.
I have held positions in the Project, Production, and Quality Control departments. I decided to share the knowledge and experience I have gained starting from the second half of 2026, and that is how I started this initiative.
In summary, my effort is to pass on the experiences I believe will guide my colleagues — especially new graduates and those new to professional life — since work life and engineering are a part of life itself. To build relationships, to create meaning.

Companies I Have Worked At

  • Gürgenler A.Ş.
Geothermal power plants, pipe spool fabrication, skid fabrication, duct fabrication, steam boilers and equipment, separation units, pressure vessel fabrication, and project management.

  • Akkuyu Nuclear
I managed steel structures, embedded fabrications, piping, and pressure vessel fabrication and project management, as well as quality control processes, for the Reactor, Turbine, Switchyard, and Fuel buildings.

  • Highland Gold
I managed all processes from the preparation of mining equipment contracts to the shipping and site installation stage: contract and specification preparation and review, engineering and project management, quality control process auditing, preparation for shipping, and coordination with the site installation team and commissioning.

What Am I Doing, What Is My Goal?

Unfortunately, newly graduated engineers can face difficulties applying the education they received in their early years to working life. The education we receive at university is not fully aligned with the dynamics of working life, and this creates breaking points. My goal is to speed up your adaptation process to working life, to share certain key points of the profession with you through my field experience, and to build a knowledge base for you by helping you adapt quickly. The main lesson I have learned throughout this challenging process is that every newly graduated colleague needs a mentor.

Why Do You Need a Mentor?

Setting out with a mentor is essentially like getting help from a professional who has already walked that path before you. Wouldn't you want support from someone who has already been through the difficult paths you are facing in your career?
In short, understanding that my mission is not just about earning money, I intend to pass on the experience I have gained to my young colleagues.
